There is very moving section in your book devoted to your grandmother’s quest to find her young son, separated from his parents during WWII. I don’t want to give the details away, but understand you used back issues of the GE Schenectady “Works News” to fill in some blanks. Think such internaal newspapers might help other authors or genealogists...where did you find them?

Mickey, I was most fortunate to learn that MiSci (Museum of Industry &Science, formerly Schenectady Museum) has digitized old copies of the GE Works News. With help of curator, Chris Hunter, acknowledged in my book, I was able to find relevant copies by searching on my grandparents names. Thanks for your question and I’m happy to help.
